About Alpha Phi Omega
Alpha Phi Omega is a national coeducational service fraternity founded on the cardinal principles of Leadership, Friendship, and Service. We have been serving the University of Southern California and the University Park community since 1934. With over 100 members, our chapter completes an average of 4,000 volunteer hours each year.
Building Communities Through Service
By organizing the Trojan Yard Sale, we strive to accomplish three philanthropic goals:
- Serve our campus community by giving them a free opportunity to buy and sell from one another in a centralized environment
- Serve our local community by donating usable items to local community organizations
- Forge closer connections between our campus and our community, encouraging a dialogue of mutual understanding
